ACS Think Pink Tea 2011 ~ Pink Tables for a Think Pink Tea ~ Imagine That

There's something so pretty

and feminine about these

pink tables.

 ~~~
The pink lace tablecloth
is beautiful here,
~~~

and so is this embroidered cloth

layered over the pink tablecloth.

 There's something I want to bring to your

attention.  The size of these tables

is larger than what most all of us

have in our homes.

Most round tablecloths  available in

the stores are no larger than 70 inches.

These tables are 68 inches which only leaves

a one inch overhang.  Special ordering

 90 inch tablecloths will solve the problem

but they can become very pricey for a one

time use.  So,  a few of us

go ahead and use the 70 inch cloths

over the cream colored hotel tablecloths

(or our own layers of fabric)

that are provided for each table.

Anyway, I thought you should

know about that little problem

that we work with while

planning our tables for the

 ACS Think Pink Tea benefit.

OK then,

  how about this pink

table with a French inspiration.

This is an extremely tall vase,

and those gift bags

hide the base of the vase.

 The table hostess said her young daughter

thought of her theme and actively

helped her plan the entire table.

The long stemmed flowers were

special ordered from a florist in town.

Did you notice the wine/water goblets?

Eiffel tower stems!

I love these place card holders.

There's still several tables to share

including my own.

Take care and have a great week.
