Road Trip from the Past

A couple years ago,
we traveled down to

San Rafael to meet
up with our son and
granddaughter, while
they were visiting Granddaughter's
other fabulous Grandma.

It was a very short
two hour visit before
our son and granddaughter
left to head back home to L.A.

We walked through several
blocks of sidewalk art festival

to get to our lunch destination.
So, even though we

didn't have the chance to
actually enjoy this festival,

we were able to snap a
few photos as we followed
our son through the crowd.

We were heading to
a really cool, but very small
Cuban lunch restaurant.

There were  three or four
 counter stools and one small
table for two inside.
The rest of the tables
were outside on the sidewalk
and in a small patio area.
The food was delicious.
We had
citrus ~ garlic ~seasoned grilled chicken,
 with black beans and rice.

 I guess I remember
that because it was our first taste
of Cuban food.

It was a fun visit.
Short but Sweet!
