A Garden Update for Violet,

 Cousin Phylis's Mom ~ Violet

helped Phylis plant her garden

while she was visiting a couple

weeks ago.

While Phylis prepped the beds, Violet

 planted just about ever seed packet

 Phylis had  out in the garden.

Violet lives in Montana and

won't be seeing the results of her

efforts in person.

So once in awhile this summer,

I'll be posting garden pics from

Phylis's Garden

  for Violet to enjoy.

Here's a partial view of the garden.

It rained heavily all day yesterday,

with more rain expected this afternoon.

Everything in the garden is extra soggy.

Phylis's husband  Rick 

 planted marigolds at the ends of most

of the garden beds.

Not shown but sprouting:

okra, corn, basil, zucchini, butternut squash

and I'm not sure what else.
