Think Pink Tea

Today is the 14th Annual THINK PINK Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
Nor-Cal Think Pink is a community effort to promote breast cancer awareness.
The campaign originated in 1997 in Redding, California
 The campaign began with just 500 free bags full of pink gifts and information on
breast cancer being handed out to the public.
Today, Nor-Cal Think Pink
will distribute 40,000 breast cancer awareness bags here in Redding.
Early breast cancer detection has a 97% cure rate;
 when discovered too late,
the effects are devastating.
 Breast cancer can strike anytime:
 young and old, family history or no family history,
healthy and unhealthy women;
 breast cancer does not discriminate.

Now on to the pink themed tea tables.

Take care.
