Grandkid Beach Time In Brookings, Oregon

We had a mini family reunion
in Brookings a couple of weeks ago.
I can't believe it's been that long ago already.
Our kids brought their kids to visit
with Rick's mom, their great~grandma.
We visited a couple of beaches.
This one is at Brooking's harbor.

Our granddaughter Gwendolyn
and her daddy, our son Richard.

Before too long,
the Hello Kitty kite was up.

I held the camera down at ground level.
I liked this angle although you cant really see
Connors face.

Unfortunately,
the wind was blowing hard.

Gwendolyn,
with her eyes shut tight against the blowing sand.

We ended up with sand in our ears and
any exposed legs were being sand blasted.

Conner, bundled up in my extra coat.
It was cold, especially out in the wind.

Conner with his chocolate mustache.

 We enjoyed our fish lunch
at an outdoor table back at the harbor.

Quiet time for Conner and Gwendolyn
at Great Grandma's house.

Two year old Katelyn
with her blue eyes,
and red wind burned cheeks and nose.
Later after dinner,
we headed back to the beach
for just a little bit more play time.

Notice something wrong?
The big toe should be on the arch side...
ah, well.

Nearing sunset.

More sunset photos of Conner.

It was a wonderful visit.

 Next up,
A quiet morning on the beach.

Soon after,
Plum/Nectarine Jam

At least that's the plan.

    1. It was and I wish our visit could have been longer. We don't get to see our son often enough.
