Becoming a Citizen*:
Each applicant trying to become a new citizen
must correctly answer 6 of the 10 questions from
a master list of 100 civics questions testing their
knowledge of our laws, politics, geography and history.

I had five correct answers,
so I definitely need to study.

I don't have a patriotic photo to include today.
I did add some flags to the picnic table,
and bunting along the railings on the deck.
Um, yeah I did, and now everything is a mess.
We're power washing the eves (spider webs),
and windows, washing screens, the deck,
and the kitchen porch.~~~
I did finish putting everything back
on the kitchen porch.
It is looking nice for now (spider free!).
I'd better go back out to help with the deck,
rearrangement now that everything has been
washed. It sounds like Rick is finished
using the power washer.
The flower in this post
was the first bloom of the season on the
Datura metel. It blooms only last
one night, opening up in the evening
with a wonderful scent,
and in the morning it wilts and is done.
OK then,
I really do have to get back
to work, so that we can
enjoy some 'work ~ free' time
this afternoon/evening.
