We can't see the sunsets from our home.
We're down between hills and trees that block the view.
I love our home and having a view was/still is important to me.
It's the one major thing I wish this home had.
I grew up in the valley here,
being able to see the sunrise over Mt. Lassen to the east,
and watching sunsets over Shasta Bally.
We also had a terrific view of Mt. Shasta to the north.
It was awesome!
I'm grateful to have beautiful sunsets once in awhile out on the lake
and a comfortable home just two exits away.
It's like we're always on vacation...
sort of.
I have about a dozen shots of this sunset, but I'll stop at three here. Take care and YES, I am grateful.
